Spotify recently changed the interface of the songs tab in its mobile app. The “Recently Played” menu is no longer available. This feature automatically compiled a list of songs that a subscriber has recently listened to. However, this feature was not useful if the subscriber had not saved the song to their Playlist. The removal of this menu is intended to encourage users to use the Playlist feature instead.
Now Playing bar
Spotify users are reporting that their Now Playing bar has disappeared on the songs tab of their app. The Now Playing bar usually contains a play/pause button, the song’s name and artist, and a thumbnail of the album’s artwork. When the Now Playing bar disappears, it’s impossible to pause or skip the current playback. The problem is not unique to the Android platform, as it also affects other platforms, including iOS and Windows Phone.
Spotify has worked with several teams on improving the mobile experience and one of the biggest issues was the disappearance of the Now Playing bar. Not only did this feature occupy a large amount of space, but it wasn’t intuitive to all users. Fortunately, there’s a fix.
If you’re looking for an alternative to the Now Playing bar on Spotify’s songs tab, try the Spotify TV app. It has a “Now Playing” tab and a “Lyrics Button that you can enable. Clicking on the “Lyrics” button will take you to the song’s lyrics.
If you’re using iOS, you can access Spotify’s music icons directly from the lock screen. The AirPlay icon, however, appears only on the iPhone and allows you to connect Spotify to other Apple devices nearby. After logging out and signing in, check if your Spotify widget is functioning.
If you use the mobile app, you’re used to having a Now Playing bar on your songs tab. However, the songs tab on your desktop app only allows you to see 50 recent songs. This makes it difficult to keep up with your music library if you’re constantly changing it. Fortunately, you can copy the link to your current song and add it to a new playlist. This feature also allows you to bookmark or sort playlists, which makes it easier to find your favorites.
Users have taken to the Spotify community to express their displeasure. In the new Community Hub, you can check which of your friends are listening now and which of them has updated their playlists recently. As of this writing, the Community tab is still in its beta stages.
Music Equalizer Bars
If you are using the Spotify Connect app, you might have noticed that you can no longer adjust the bass and treble levels in your music. This feature is built into Spotify and essentially a link to the Equalizer that’s built into the ROM. Thankfully, there are third party applications available for download from the Mac App Store that will give you access to the Equalizer. This will restore the equalizer bars in your songs, and you’ll be able to hear the bass and treble levels of your music.
As for Spotify’s Community tab, you won’t find it on the songs tab, but there are screenshots that show what friends are listening to now. As of now, this feature only appears on desktop, but the company is working to make it available on mobile as well. The Community tab will allow users to see what their friends are listening to and how frequently they update their playlists.
Once you’ve found the right song to play, you can change its mix in the equalizer by dragging it. The equalizer controls the overall sound of the track, and it’s easy to find the perfect mix with the right combination of tracks and artists. However, there’s a catch. If you don’t want to make changes to the audio level in your song, the Music Equalizer Bars on Spotify songs tab will still remain.
You can use the Equalizer to adjust the bass and treble on your headphones. It’s also possible to use EQ to change the sound quality of your EDM music. The EQ helps you adjust the sound so that the music has the right punch, warmth, and bass that you prefer.
Recently played songs are displayed on Spotify’s main page. If you want to hear more of them, you can add them to your playlist. To view your recently played songs, click on the queue icon at the top-left corner. You can also see the recently played songs in your desktop client. To hide them from your followers, click on the “Hide” button. This will prevent other people from seeing your listening activity.
You can also delete individual songs from the Recently Played list. You can do this through the Recently Played settings of your account. This feature is useful if you are interested in protecting your privacy or simply want to reorganize your account. Spotify’s recent play feature is an in-built feature that compiles all the songs you’ve recently played into a single section.
To view your recently played tracks, you can log in to your account and then click the “Queue” button. You can view your playlist and queued songs by scrolling down the screen. You can also delete a playlist in Spotify by pressing the “Delete” button. In the desktop version, the Recently Played section displays all the songs you’ve recently played. On mobile devices, the list is limited. The desktop version of Spotify allows you to access your entire list of songs.
If you’d prefer to keep your listening history private, Spotify has a feature that allows you to delete individual tracks and podcasts individually. This feature will help you reorganize your Spotify account so that you can listen to what you’ve recently listened to in a new way.
If you’re looking to download music to your computer, you may be wondering what has happened to your Favorite Songs on Spotify tab. Recently, Spotify revamped the “Your Library” section, ditching the alphabetical scroll bar and replacing it with playlists, albums, and artists. Although the change isn’t a huge deal, users may be disappointed that their favorites are no longer visible.
Fortunately, this issue is resolvable. After downloading the latest official version of the app, you should be able to access the Liked Songs section once again. Alternatively, you can log into a different Spotify account and move your favorites to a new playlist. Just make sure to set the playlist’s settings to “Public” in your old account.
If you’ve ever wished you could share your Favorite Songs with friends and family, you might be surprised to know that Spotify has also reintroduced a Community tab that lets you see who’s currently listening to the same songs as you are. The Community tab isn’t fully functional, but it offers a nice way to see what other Spotify users have been listening to.

In the meantime, if you’re experiencing this issue, you may want to try logging out of Spotify until the app is fixed. If the problem persists, restarting the app may be a quick fix. Until then, make sure you don’t let it happen again!
Another way to fix the issue is to download your listening history. While Spotify doesn’t make this easy, you can still view what you’ve been listening to in the past year. For this, you need to request the data from Spotify’s servers. To do this, log in to your account and click on the “Profile” icon in the top-right corner of the app. From there, click on “Account” in the extended menu.
Regardless of whether the problem is a technical problem, Spotify’s lyrics feature is available to users on Android TV, FireTV, LG, and Samsung. This feature is also available on Sky and Comcast. If you’re not able to access Spotify on your TV, the problem may be with your own computer. To fix this problem, you may need to refresh your Spotify app.
